A retirement house in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs has been evacuated after the development stuck fireplace.

The CFA mentioned the alarm used to be raised on the house at the Berwick Cranbourne Highway and crews from 8 vehicles tackled the hearth.
Berwick Cranbourne Highway is closed to site visitors.
Firefighters will keep at the scene and expect the hearth to burn out.
